What is your role?
I am responsible for the smooth running of the New Zealand office for the IFM Group. I am also the current Chairman of the Board of Duncan Cotterill in Christchurch, New Zealand.

What is your background?

I have over 20 years experience of business law, with a special expertise in finance and banking, capital raising and franchising. I also advise a portfolio of high net worth individuals in relation to Trust, Estate Planning and Asset Management matters. I have worked at Trans-Tasman law firm Duncan Cotterill in its Christchurch office since returning to New Zealand in 1997.

What are your qualifications?

Originally from England, I graduated in law from Canterbury University, Christchurch in 1986 and was admitted as a solicitor in New Zealand in 1987. Since then I have worked as a solicitor in the UK and was admitted as a solicitor of England and Wales. I retain my membership of the UK Law Society.
